it get more frizzy it fries up and poofy

i also have short hair so its hard to put it in braids

Try buying a diffuser if you have no choice but to dry it unnaturally. Put it on the lowest setting and hold it about 6" from your hair.

I'm going to take a guess and say you have waves or curls. When you get out of the shower, flip your hair over, and with a lot of the water still in it, start scrunching hair with paper towels. They give more definition and less frizz. Then you can put in a lightweight mousse or gel in it and scrunch some more. When you're curls/waves are dry, you can gently flip your head back over and shake gently a bit more to add some volume.

It also helps when you have more moisture. Try deep conditioning once a week and skip out on the shampoo most of the time.

I also tell all my friends to try 100% Virgin Coconut Oil, it makes your hair very moisturized and it grows in much nicer.

how about letting it air dry or towel dry, because blow drying breaks the hair and makes it brittle and easy to break. ALso, do individual braids all over so it wont just be left out thats after its dry (and dont forget to grease)

K first go and buy paul mitchell super skinny. Shampoo, conditioner and serum. Then buy a blow dryer that has a shock button on it. It's more then likely going to be blue. So first you blow dry your hair with the heat then hit the blue button it blow cool air. Then say bye bye to frizz.

Oh yeah I know it works cuz I have puffy frizzy curly hair! But after I finish with it you'd never know.
