ok so i had a weave for maybe four months, and before my hair wasn't too entirely short. Now i took it out and got a relaxer and it looks so much shorter and thinner!!!! What are some great ways I could grow my hair out? What even happened to my hair? I thought that if i had it braided, it would grow. But I guess i was wrong

Weaves put lots of stress on hair shafts and you've probably suffered some breakage secondary to that. Also, any stress-weakened hair would be more susceptible to damage from the chemicals. Best bet is to go short and natural as possible.
